Exciting new growth for mclcreate in Edinburgh
mclcreate, the live communication company, is delighted to announce the expansion of its operation with the relocation of its Edinburgh office to new premises. The new 1,500m2 space will accommodate mclcreate’s continuing growth by providing additional meeting, client preview and administration space as well as a new warehouse, three times larger than before.
The new move has come as an exciting time for mclcreate, which has been involved in a number of exciting projects in Scotland, including the recent launch of the Edinburgh International Festival entitled ‘Deep Time.’ There has also been a number of new appointments in the region demonstrating mclcreate’s commitment to the Scottish market, mainly in its Engagement division with the appointment of Mark McGauchrane as Head of Engagement, but also with a new Senior Business Development Manager, Mike Donoghue.
There has also been the recent addition of mclcreate’s Delegate and Event Management division, its Edinburgh branch has seen tremendous growth, expanding from 10 employees based there when it launched in 2001, to 22 staff members in 2016. The new site will more closely meet the needs for the business as it continues its transition towards a full service provider.
“Scotland is a key location for us,” comments Tim Spencer, Managing Director of mclcreate. “As our company grows, it is vital that we invest in our Scottish operation, a significant area of business for our company. Here, we have enjoyed major successes in recent years with an increasing number of clients taking advantage of our deep expertise across live communication services, covering everything from creative design, conceptualisation and account management to delegate and event management, digital services, equipment supply and full technical support – in short, everything they need to create a successful event experience.”
As a new warehousing build, mclcreate has been able to purpose-build the empty space to fill its unique requirements. The addition of a client preview space means clients are able to experience the look and feel of their own event in advance, adding to the unique offering by the company. The new location in West Edinburgh will also provide easier access to the motorway and allow the mclcreate to better service its clients in Scotland and Northern England.
mclcreate also operates out of its Glasgow branch and has national UK reach through its offices in Manchester, Birmingham and London. The new office is located at Units 9–13, West Edinburgh Business Park, Marnin Way, South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 9GD.
