J-Fest: JTI Sales Awards 2015

mclcreate delivered a sales awards evening for multinational tobacco company JTI, planning and producing the high-impact black tie evening from start to finish.
Held at the impressive Manchester Central Convention Complex, the event was attended by 350 delegates from JTI’s sales teams from across the UK.
The day began with an annual conference, and was later followed by an evening drinks reception and formal gala dinner and awards ceremony.
The showpiece was the high-tempo awards presentation, staged in the round to create an exciting arena-style atmosphere. Nominees were invited onto the stage, where dramatic spotlighting was used to reveal the winner.
The space and set were branded and decorated by mclcreate to reflect a striking black and white checker theme. Also utilised were two giant 16:9 screens, and a state-of-the-art Glux LED screen, to create a powerful visual display.
The delegates were delighted to realise that their entry wristbands were Xylobands, equipped with flashing LED lights that could be remote-controlled from the stage. These were used throughout the night to create interactive light displays, bringing the delegates together and making for a unique experience.
Additional entertainment was in the form of a five-piece live band, who performed energising hits and also – in a quirky touch – lent their sound to each award introduction.
mclcreate also handled video production and editing, and each guest received a special DVD featuring highlights of the evening.
We supported the event with over 50 staff, ranging from account managers, producers, project team and technical crew, to content designer, creative team, show caller and logistics planners.
The entire event was turned around in 48 hours. From arriving on-site, set-up and rehearsals, to the conference, gala and awards ceremony, tear down and departure.
