mclcreate Powers Amco’s bold new move at Automechanika
AMCO Services (International) Limited provides reliable, economic logistics services across a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors. Following its rebranding in 2014 and expansion of its warehouse facilities into a new additional space in Redditch, the company wanted to raise awareness of its success at the Automechanika show (NEC Birmingham, 7-9 June 2016).
mclcreate was approached by AMCO’s marketing agency, Nexus Creative, to help with the exhibition stand build for the show. The team were brought on from day one, assisting with the initial creative concepts, stand design, the use the floor space and the way in which technology could help bring the stand to life. mclcreate also took on responsibility for event logistics, booking in the power, arranging set up crew, transport to the show and supplying all audio-visual equipment for the space.
As well as facilitating the design and construction of the stand itself, mclcreate brought together a range of its in-house resources, including the new business team, exhibition project managers, technicians and on-site support, all working together to provide a unique and seamless solution for AMCO.
Technology played an important part in demonstrating the new warehouse in Redditch to the audience at the NEC. iPads and Smart TVs were included in the build, which showed photos and a timelapse video of the new warehouse, content which was created by Nexus Creative.
The stand offered visitors an insight into the company and how it has been growing. With 600 other exhibitors and 12,000 visitors over the three days, the stand needed to stand out from the crowd. This was achieved though the bold, vivid red and black backdrop with a white linear design, lit up by a series of downlighters.
“We were delighted with our stand and the professionalism of its build,” commented AMCO. “Having mclcreate on board from the start meant that we benefitted from its many years of experience in exhibitions and knowledge on everything from logistics to technology and transport. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”
The success of this year’s event has led to AMCO already planning to attend the popular show in 2017.
