mclcreate were delighted to be asked to once again produce this year’s ‘Sales and Customer Service Awards 2014’ for The AA.
Held at Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford (Lancashire County Cricket Club) in ‘The Point’, LCCC’s stunning £12M event space, the Sales and Customer Service Awards 2014 catered for over 500 guests.
mclcreate were charged with creating a bespoke set and staging to fit with the client’s chosen theme ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Three sections of the venue were used for the main awards and dining, with the final section covered in green draping and UV lighting which would be later revealed following an on-pitch firework display, with a surprise dance troop finale involving dancers in full suits highlighted by UV lighting.
mclcreate worked closely with theming company ‘Mother of All Events’ to create the event and they used an array of props, draping, signage, sweets and innovative table centres to create the Oz theme and bring it to life across the entire event.
Sarah Peet of The AA said “We all had a great time, everything went to plan and we were really pleased. Best event ever, now just need to think what we can do for next year!”
