After previous years of holding very successful fashion shows, the Glasgow Caledonian University Business School decided to showcase their students work to a far larger audience than before, at the Silverburn Shopping Centre, a 1,500,000 sq ft retail and leisure complex on the south side of Glasgow. mclcreate were approached by GCU due to our extensive experience of producing fashion shows and that we have first hand knowledge of the venue. ‘White, clean lines’ was the brief with enough impact to make an impression on the large venue. After the centre was closed to members of the public for the evening, mclcreate started building a catwalk surrounded by a truss structure which supported the PA system and a comprehensive lighting system.
